Frequently Ask Questions

1. Is pyrographic art expensive?

       My pictures are priced competitively and range from $35.00 up to $500.00 with the majority in the $90.00 to $200.00 range.

       I do not accept credit cards.  I do accept personal and corporate checks or certified money orders.

2. How long does it take for delivery?

       Delivery will vary on the picture content and my commission backlog.  The average delivery time is two to four weeks from acceptance of the commission.

       Christmas orders are never taken after October 31st.

3. Do you offer "Satisfaction Guaranteed?"

       I guarantee the satisfaction of my clients.  If for some reason you are not satisfied, return the picture at your expense and I will refund your deposit.  If you cancel your commission after I accept it and before it is finished you will loose your deposit.

4. What kind of wood do you use?

       I use various woods and veneered panels for my pictures.  The majority of my pictures are produced on bass wood oval slabs with surrounding bark and Italian poplar panels.

5. Is framing extra?

       I only frame the square and rectangular pictures.  I frame with woods I consider complimentary to my art.  In most cases these woods include wormy chestnut, wormy nut woods barn siding and etc...

6. Is this art form durable?

       The pictures are durable, however; as in any art, they should be kept out of direct sun or strong light and away from heat sources.  They may be easily dusted with a soft dry cotton cloth.  No cleaning solutions or wax.

7. Can I have my personal photos back?

       I work from client photographs which I must approve before I start the picture.  The photographs will be returned when I deliver the commission.
